I'm so glad you like it; The descriptions of the city in particular I'm really really proud of, and the parallels running through things. The mask bit we figured out early in the planning stages and it was just like OH HELL YES but we had a lot of moments like that as all the pieces slotted themselves into place beyond our own maneuvering. IT WAS AMAZING.
But yeah there's a lot of little tiny details packed in between bigger ideas - there's just a lot there - and I love that so much eeeee we need to write more along these lines I think.
