Cocoa and couch snuggles DO sound awfully good! But I also like the idea of them sticking around and remaining together, no Roche and no Keene, and possibly changing the trajectory of Adrian's plan somehow because ghosts see all or whatever. Or maybe I just like badass ghosts :D

Also, isn't okypete_harpy's icon above great? It almost made me b'aw because that's how I picture them after the end of this story: Rorschach and Nite Owl walking together on the endless patrol, and you may see that blurry afterimage of them out of the corner of your eye, but once you really look they're gone.
