I... don't know what to say. I kind of want to leave a comment for every chapter, because there's so much amazing stuff in every single chapter, but also the overall story is just. I'm on the edge of my seat here. I feel like I won't be able to think of them differently from how you've written them. This was like a great little thriller, but with HEART, if you'll excuse the cliche. And definitely more terror than horror. And just exemplary characterisations of Dan and Walter/Rorschach. It's fics like these that make me feel extremely happy that fanfic authors disregard/move past those tired accusations of how fanfic is derivative and useless and characters don't actually exist outside of a book (as if we didn't all know this latter fact...). I mean, if there were a Dan and a Rorschach on the cosmic fictional plane, you've tapped into them.
