That's my worry, that a lot of people will just go 'oh wtf crack' and not give it a chance. :\

But that said, thank you so much. Both for giving it that chance, and for being so kind :) That affection and awkward tension and baseline hum of something that's a little more than friendship but hard to exactly pin down is something I felt very strongly used to be between them - from the flashbacks in the GN and the things Dan says about those times - and it was a really interesting place to write them from.

So, again: thank you! And I'll try to keep it up, though it'll probably have to wait until the semester's over in a few weeks.
