It's taken me a day or two to get around to actually commenting on this, but I wanted to mention that I absolutely adore it. I love the idea that Jon would teleport them to the future, instead of just killing Rorschach. Sure, Rorschach wasn't going to compromise, but at the same time, Jon really needed to think about things -- just because he can see all of time happening simultaneously, he could also see whether or not Rorschach was going to have an effect on the world at all. I mean, the man was already a nutcase vigilante who wouldn't quit, and he would've been discredited as a complete nutjob after having broken out of Sing Sing. I just think that Jon wasn't trying very hard when he was looking at time, that he wasn't even bothering to see whether or not he could shape the events of the universe. It annoyed me that it's *after* Rorschach dies that he ends up going, "La la, I like people, and I'm going to wander off and create life somewhere, yay!"

TL;DR - I really like that you had Jon throw them into the future. If nothing else, Rorschach and Dan were there to be able to pick up the pieces. (And I'm glad you threw Dan in there too, because it would've sucked for Rorschach to be all alone).

I'm a sucker for Dan/Rorschach as well, so I was really pleased that they ended up together. :D

I'm rather curious how the light was able to strip away parts of Rorschach's personality like that -- he's still very much himself, but he doesn't seem quite so jagged around the edges as he was post-Roche. :O

I totally laughed out loud at Bubastis 2.0 (as I have mentally dubbed the ugly-as-hell cat that Adrian ends up befriending, complete with, "OMG, there was a freaking crowd there! How the hell did you find me?!" stuffs. Hee.)

But yes, I really love this fic, and from what I've seen of the comments section, I'm very glad that you're going to continue it. I'll make sure to wander by the master fic list post. :D

Thank you again for writing this!
