And Dan... I mean, in CANON, he has a self-admitted costume kink, as well as supposition of a kink for running around being a hero, and the fandom's just kind of run with that haha. But yeah. It has canon precedent, to believe that. I think that's a large part of why most slashfics of these two don't really deal much with Dan coming to grips with being attracted to a guy, because it's assumed he's already figured that out and doesn't care, irrelevant in the context of all the *actually* freaky shit he's into. XD
