Notes: Title translates loosely to ‘how much time’. This is my attempt at a multi-part story, with a plot, that does not tie into any existing episodes/plot holes/missing scenes. Some new series continuity later on. ALSO: This will eventually be finished. I promise.

Notes: This struck me at first as a purely humorous idea, was just going to be a drabble- then it presented itself as a reasonable scenario as to why the Master would end up in modern-day London of all places, THEN it insisted it was also an interesting character piece showcasing just how much more alike these characters have become over the years. Sorry. I can’t ever just write Silly without it turning into Serious.

Summary: Ten and Jack and their respective baggage collide in the Torchwood Hub. Sometimes you need something more real than a belief, to cling to. Neither of them is ready for it.
Rating/Warnings: PG-13. Slash, non-explicit sexuality. A mild, theoretical reference to suicide. Some disturbing imagery.
Notes: This has been done a thousand times, but it’s also pretty old, from back before it HAD been done a thousand times. I sat on it for a long time and just before the end of SE03 realized that HAY I SHOULD PROBABLY POST THIS. Before it became not just future AU but instead that dreaded beast, revisionist AU. So, not as polished as my usual stuff, but I think, worth posting back when I still could. Not exactly ‘dark’, but not in any way sweet and fluffy. Boys got issues. Title is from the song of the same name, 'Diminishing Returns' by Harvey Danger, my favorite dysfunctional Ten/Jack song.
Spoilers: PoTW, I guess. In that Jack's still alive. It's a stretch.

Summary: "I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad- The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had." He doesn't have a deathwish, not exactly - but it feels like one sometimes.
Rating/Warnings: PG. Anyone easily squicked by morbid thoughts should read with caution.
Notes: This is unusually dark, even for me. If you want to listen to the song that inspired this(Mad World), I’d recommend the Gary Jules version.

Notes: This assumes canonicity of the Big Finish audio storylines. Also, it doesn’t quite jive with the ‘fall of Arcadia’ line, unless you take that to be a metaphorical reference rather than a literal one. SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF. Sorry.

Notes: If you're looking for a story where the Doctor is SO IN LOVE that he tears apart two universes trying to get back to Rose, this ain't it. Math is beautiful, and math teaches us to accept the trailing ends of infinity as the lost causes that they are.
