At least canon!schach knew that they'd been displaced, that this wasn't their world and that seeing himself here wasn't some kind of physical impossibility; the zombie thing threw him, but otherwise he knew what was up; zombie!schach I'm sure was thinking along the lines of OMG IMPOSTOR. Until he realized that Dan was talking to the impostor and didn't actually recognize zombie!schach himself, at which point it probably would have spiraled out into some kind of conspiracy theory wherein he's hallucinating due to some carrier-specific drug the gov't introduced into the water supply to take them all out. D: D:
god why am I trying to rationalize any of this, the whole idea is completely cracked anyway.
