Oh man, I absolutely love the first one. I haven't read the others yet (and don't have the time atm; I'll come back to them!) but that first one's killed me. I love the way you use the imagery of the oil and the moon; you make simple things beautiful and powerful. The scene comes to life, as little of a scene as there actually is to be seen. And I can see Rorschach as the type to put himself in mortal peril instead of facing Daniel. Fantastic.
