Yes, it is, because it's managed to undermine one of Ror's most basic character traits: never surrender. Which I tried really hard to get across, that it's the programming that made him unable to fight back, not that he's just suddenly being all OOC. And he only got the tiniest dose - just enough to find out if the 'they' Adrian wrote about in his journal were coming - much smaller than what Dan originally got, so he could fight it enough to stay marginally coherent but still couldn't DO anything. It's an ugly, ugly business.
