Yeah, I'm with you. Not only does he not have a right to make that decision, it was for a completely nonsensical strategy. Why not just beam that grotesque monster to the middle of NYC, uh, without the deaths? I'm sure people would manage to notice it and be frightened of supposed alien threats nonetheless. Besides which, just--urgh, whatever, Adrian. For a smart guy you sure are full of stupid. Or maybe you just like the killin'.
Haha seriously though, it is kind of fun to play around with Adrian and the average reader's feelings toward him. I am so pleased to see that his plans have gotten revenge on himself, and that his 11:59 self is at least doing some good.
