Well, one of my first loves in my literary studies is narrative voice and how it promotes identification/interaction from the reader, and even in horror stories I feel like that has to be prominent. The way you shift from pov and with small breaks does give a certain air and emotion to the piece.
But yes, in short, your story hit the mark. Hit it like Ror punched that ghost.
