Yeaaaah I usually just color the pupils something other than black - something lighter/warmer to give the impression of the reflectivity, but that is because I am a lazyass and not an artist.
mustinvestigate had a great theory about the babbling on her lj, that he was just SO GLAD to have someone to talk to again other than his journal, and that maybe pre-Roche he always babbled like that; I don't really think it's true but it's a very amusing mental image.
