When radishface wrote the version where Rorschach doesn't age and has to wander around the same after Dan dies of old age, I was so heartbroken - it was a beautiful, beautiful fic, and I think it's the best ending they could get IF ror not aging were how it was going to happen, but I'd always intended to have him age normally and saw an opportunity to alleviate some of the sad. :) I'm glad you like it - it's weird how 'you're going to die' can make someone happy, can make us as readers happy.
