Hah yeah, I know a lot of people aren't into the pairing. I like it mostly because I started out RPing before I was writing proper fics, and played opposite an amazing Tseng, and it was such a fun dynamic I can't really let it go ;)
Anyway, thank you so much! Splinter is probably my favorite ff7 fic, and definitely the one I'm proudest of, so I'm thrilled to see people still stumbling onto it. It really is crazy how long the fandom's been running--my first ff7 fic was in 2000--and wonderful that people are still interested in these characters.
(Never wrote any Reno/Rude btw, but I do remember some excellent stuff in that vein around that time period.)
